Why RateKit Exists
Too many financial tools are either buried behind paywalls, require account creation just to see a number, or are cluttered with ads and dark patterns. We built RateKit because we believe the basic math of running a business should be accessible to everyone.
Every calculator on RateKit works instantly in your browser. No data is sent to our servers. No account needed. No credit card. Just the numbers you need.
What We Build
RateKit focuses on practical tools for two main audiences:
- Freelancers & Consultants — Freelance rate calculator, Stripe/PayPal fee calculator, Self-employment tax estimator, VAT/GST calculator
- Founders & Startups — SAFE equity calculator, Burn rate & runway, LTV:CAC ratio, Break-even analysis, ROI calculator, Business loan calculator
Our Principles
- ✅ Always free for core features
- ✅ No account required to use calculators
- ✅ Your data stays in your browser
- ✅ No dark patterns or misleading results
- ✅ Formulas based on publicly accepted financial standards
Coming Soon
We are working on optional user accounts that will let you save and revisit your calculations. This will always be free for core features. Premium features (branded PDF exports, unlimited saved calculations) may be available for a small fee in the future.

RateKit is built and maintained by Azat Israilov. You can see my other work at azatisrail.org.

☕ Buy Me a Coffee
RateKit runs on free coffee and the mild delusion that these calculators actually help people. If one of them just saved you from a spreadsheet disaster, you could buy me an actual coffee — or don't, no popups, no guilt trip, I promise. Ko-fi · Patreon.
